Athletic Opportunities for Grades 1-6 at Heritage Christian School
Our athletic programs for students in grades 1-6 provide younger students with structured opportunities to learn the fundamentals of sports, build teamwork skills, and compete in a fun, Christ-centered environment.
Youth Sports Program
Current Youth Sports Offerings:
- Boys Tackle Football (Grades 1-6)
- Boys Basketball (Grades 3-6)
- Girls Basketball (Grades 3-6)
- Boys Lacrosse (Grades 5-6)
- Girls Lacrosse (Grades 5-6)
Youth teams typically practice twice per week and have 1-2 games per week, depending on the sport.
6th Graders in Middle School Athletics
In addition to youth sports, some 6th graders may have the opportunity to participate in middle school athletics. Some sports allow 6th graders to join every year, while others may invite them to try out if additional players are needed.

- Boys/Girls Swimming & Diving

Middle school teams practice 4-5 days per week and typically have 2-3 games per week, providing a more structured, competitive experience.
Developing Skills for the Future
Whether students participate in youth sports or middle school athletics, these programs help lay the foundation for future success in high school sports. Our varsity coaches maintain strong connections with our younger athletes, often running youth and middle school clinics to help develop skills and confidence for the next level.
